I've just bought the Close wrap and it's amazing, don't know if you can get it in the US but if you can I highly recommend it.

Did you swaddle your babies?

hey lady, I don't know if you remember me, but you and I messaged each other back a few times after your little bob was born, cause my little amelie was born around the same time. Anyway, since then, I have started my own baby carrier company with the long tied wraps. I dunno how this works, but if you'd like to do a review of my wrap and put it up as one of your suggested wraps on your site I'd be really thankful. They are made through fair trade and I do an individual painting on each one. Anyway, check out my website and send me an e-mail to tell me what you think. hope all is well on the farmfront!

We use car seats in cars, I would imagine to do otherwise would be quite unsafe. I don't lug around a car seat with a baby in it into a store (terrible for your back!); our car seats STAY in the car.

Do you eliminate car seats all together? Or do you still use them while in transit?

I've tried my share of carriers; wraps, peapods, snuglies, backpacks... and none of them come close to the kind of comfort, safety and convenience I am in *dire* need of. I've read your review on the BABYHAWK, checked out the website, watched some Youtube videos. Seems like the best idea yet, so I will more than likely purchase one.

However, the Didymos seems to come rated with many stars. Is it really, really easy to put on alone? My husband leaves earlier in the morning and is gone most of the day, so I have nobody to help me tie a ten-month-old (safely) onto my back.
Like yourself, I also need to be able to wear my child for long periods at a time, so I trust your level of comfort rating on these carriers!

i lOVED my didy also! i had a size 7 thought and should have had a 6 (as 7 was just too long). i got mine on thebabywearer.com and loved how comfy and worn in it was! i also loved my storch (which i know you aren't a fan of woven wraps). it was so sturdy and a beautiful blue (leo). another wrap that you might like that is really light-weight and breathable is the gypsymama breeze wraps. it's great for me b/c i live in hot florida!

i had a beco butterfly and it didnt fit me right. i LOVED my babyhawk and used it with both kiddos until they got too heavy and it was uncomfy.

i just bought (used again) a toddler patapum (a ssc but a longer body than a beco or ergo). i cant wait to try it out! my 2 year old is small (23 lbs) and always wants to be carried in my ringsling lately (so i cant wait for a ssc to carry him in).

Yes it's a cotton jersey, and looks the exact same as the Cuddlewrap so I bet they're both just as warm haha. It's fine if I'm just sitting outside, but going on walks, we both get back to the house covered in sweat.

I'm glad to hear you suggest the Mei Tei because my husband loves the look of them and says he'll wear our daughter if she's carried it something like that. As much as I love wearing her, it would be nice for the two fo them to get some bonding time in as well - he claims she hates him because she cried almost everytime he hold her. I think he just doesn't spend enough time with her for her to get used to him.

Now, our friend has also purchased us a Kissed Baby sling which we're waited for it to arrive - do you enjoy using slings from birth, or do you prefer them for an older age?
