Would you mind ever so much doing a post about you/ your kids' current favorite toys? I have an almost four year old (10/2) and a one year old (7/2), buy mostly non-plastic toys, and am rather stumped about Christmas. Thanks!

Love that you made it to the convention with hubs this year! It's always good to get out of the routine and return to the roots. To rekindle the interests and loves of your b4 kid days with kids in tow. It always gives me a feeling of sunshine on my back when I meld my worlds together. It must have been so great to see Scott win two great awards too!

It was so nice to get to finally meet you! And of course the adorable little miss! I had the pleasure of meeting hubby last year :)
Too bad the convention wasn't as good as it usually is, that was a bit of a downer. Good times though!

Enjoy those big, yummy-looking birds!
And I hope it's not too soon that you'll need to light a fire. usually this time of year I'm throwing every available blanket over the garden at night, but our nighttime lows have been deliciously in the low 40's.
Take care,
Rachel

It's definitely that time of year! The farm I'm moving to in December slaughtered lambs yesterday (really made us sad because they were the friendliest lambs ever!) - I think the turkeys are going to be allowed some time to get a bit bigger though.

I like cooler weather because it means I pick up the old knitting needles and get lots of work done. I expect the sweater I am knitting myself should be finished some time around May. Ahem.

It's also quilting weather. And I happen to also prefer to sleep with pajamas and lots of blankets.
