Thanks for the information, Ashely. I'll definitely look into this when we are planning for number 2. I enjoyed taking Leo for VERY long walks (you know, back when he would still sit in a pram;) and this time I am adamant that I am getting a pram which is up to the task!

Ro - that MEC thing comes apart easily (you take all the wheels off, 100% less complicated than it sounds) and fits into the trunk of my Focus hatchback. No room to spare, but it does fit.

While I wouldn't particularly WANT to carry it for any duration (instead of push) I have friends who have flown with it to EU, used it all over public transit, etc. Loved it. There is a jogging & bicycle attachment, totally great. I use it on the farm, so while the tires don't have chains or super tread, they will easily go through goat muck and gravel and grass and all that is our yard.

Serious thumbs up from this camp, especially given the price!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Mags skating! She is so cute.

The weather over here has turned nasty again.....it should definitely be warmer by now. NO daffodils yet (plants are there, flowers are not).

So, that Mountain Equipment stroller is good for jogging? I'm trying to hunt down a good jogging stroller (well, ANY PROPER jogging stroller, actually), but results are not promising. While they are called "Supertrendy City Jogger" (or somesuch), they are not actually FOR jogging. What kind of terrain does yours handle? And does it fold down to fit in the car? And how much does it weigh?
