You know, I have just freaked my husband out; whilst reading through your journals he looked over my shoulder and saw a picture of your husband Scott... I think they may be separated at birth! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3581/3660866858_6928a6201f_m.jpg this is only picture I have to hand at the mo, and its an old one cos the peanut is just a year now, and his beard is a little tidier and actually looks a lot redder.

Sweeeet owl, please post the taxidermy when it's done! The pumpkin is also pretty damn spiffy, but the kids take the cake- I hope they get plenty of use out of those costumes- they look like a fun way to dress up and stay warm during the long cold winter.

Well I thought Finn was the cutest chicken this year, but I've decided he has to be the cutest rooster, because Maggie is definitely the most adorable little hen! And Bob made one heck of a monkey too!

I nursed your cousins until they were 2½, 2, and 3 respectively. Don't recall anyone ever saying "please." Have to love Maggie's politeness!

I nursed my first baby until she was 3.5 years old. I'm nursing a 6 month old now (ha! literally) with no plans to stop soon. I can't wait to hear my baby ask for "boobie, please"!

My dad is a taxidermist, and he always recommends that you freeze roadkill. Your owl should be perfectly fine! Just make sure you find a taxidermist that is good with fowl, as they can be pretty finicky!

I always find pumpkin-carving so exotic having never celebrated haloween before. The pumpkins you guys carved are by far the most professional and expressive looking! Wow.
