I pick as many calendula heads as I can, I make sure they are WELL covered in olive oil and I let them sit on stove over LOW heat for at least 24 hours. I blend it with varying amounts of shea butter, jojoba oil, essential oils and whatever else I happen to have in my cupboard at the time of making!! Did you end that phase, or did she? I only ask because my 7 month old nurses to sleep (well, until he's drowsy) and I've been 'warned' that I need to get him acclimated to not nursing to sleep, or FACE THE CONSEQUENCES. The only thing is that NO ONE can tell what the consequences are. My little boy loves to nurse. It's a relationship we had to work hard at to establish, and it provides him a ton of comfort. I do see why I might need to eventually need to get him to not nurse before sleeping, but I'd rather not put him through that if I don't have to. So, give me a retaliation story? My daughter (2.5+ years old) is very stubborn and still not looking like she'll "self-wean" anytime soon. I've got no idea what to do next, we'll just have to stick with it a bit longer. She's fully potty trained (day and night), but not weaned....feels a bit backwards. I don't mind the family bed though, but wish ours was a bit bigger (as she grows, it's getting smaller and smaller). Hope the bedroom thing goes smoothly, wouldn't it be nice to have just a little bit more room in your bed?
