Mothers Day

May 11th, 2009

Some women got mani-pedis.  My husband got me a mini monster truck.

BIG JEEP

My mother’s day card said “I would go to the ends of the earth for you sweetheart.  Or at least, to Tweed”.  (Some of you are laughing with me).

Monster sized gratitude to Shannon.

Also, the wheels are taller than Bob!

Oh, how I miss thee, mini monster!

I do hope to get an invite for a ride in it once it’s up and running, for old time’s sake!

now THAT is a Big Wheel… wink.

Whenever I go back to NC to visit they always break out two things: 1) the homemade potato gun and 2) the fireworks. We decided to shoot a Barbie out of the potato gun last time…her hair kind of caught on fire, but it was completely worth it.

Now I don’t know what you meant about Tweed but it’s funny you should mention that small town. We bought 27 acres up there a year and half ago in order to start our homesteading journey.
