Bang

May 8th, 2009

1. Totally unfair.  I went to the grocery store for some fish and they had fireworks for sale.  Cannot resist.  (Also, one of the many things I love about living in the country!)

FLAMING BALLS

Pretty!

2. Bob says to me tonight at dinner “I love mushrooms!  I also love Daddy!”

3. Since Meeps only nursed every hour last night I feel tremendously well rested.  (This was a marked improvement on her previous three nights of nursing every 15-45 minutes, every nursing being punctuated by ear piercing shreiking thanks to her ear infection…. bless St.Francis Ear Oil.)

Haha flaming balls. That’s great. I recall my daughter once claiming her love for me at the grocery store then adding, “and I love mustard”. Here’s a link for making fruit leathers. My kids love them. Since you planted so many berries ….. http://www.gardenguides.com/plants/info/Vegetables/bramblerecipes.asp
    Have fun with your explosives!!

sounds like my house. my 4 month old has been nursing every 30-45 minutes thanks to a flare up of his reflux… makes getting up at 5 to go to work pretty difficult!

clove oil works well for ears too. Vince used to get ear infections all the time and I swore by it :)

Is that St. Francis Herb Farm Ear Oil?

I got Hannah some St. Francis Herb Farm “Deep Immune Kids” – Whole body System – Immune Enhancer (It’s an Astragalus Combo, Astruagalus and Codonopsis).

I don’t know if you’ve used either of those (Astragalus or Codonopsis), but was curious if you have. I haven’t started her on it yet.

    Flaming Balls, cracked me up!

Hannah is in the “Love” stage. Today she told me “I love drinking coffee”, I wonder where she got that from? She loves everything! “I love moths”, “I love bugs”, I love this, I love that….aren’t toddlers great, the things they come up with!!

    Oh – I have a story I think you’d get a kick out of…I will send you an email….

Thankfully, I haven’t had to deal with earaches with my kids yet, but when I was young we used to heat up a clove of garlic in olive oil and rub it behind the sore ear and it absolutely works!

    Oh we’ve got Deep Immune!

Garlic does wonders for just about everything, doesn’t it?
